About Mari
Mari Telios is a children’s book author, founder of Seedling Press Publishing, and marketing leader with experience in both business-to-business and consumer marketing. She holds an undergraduate degree in marketing and an MBA, and has built her career around understanding audiences, shaping brands, and bringing ideas to life.
Mari wrote The Little Seed’s Long Wait as a way to put her own feelings about waiting, uncertainty, and hope on paper. The book, along with its Spanish edition, La larga espera de la semillita, has reached hundreds of young readers through school visits, Barnes & Noble storytimes, and community events.
What began as one personal story has grown into an expanding Little Seed world that includes a plush companion and Read & Paint kits. In development now: The Little Seed and the Secret Forest, the Little Seed Feels series, and The Little Seed Experience, a story-based workshop for teams and organizations.
Mari lives in Illinois with her husband and has six grandchildren, her favorite and most candid market research team.
